About Us

St John’s Chapel Primary School is a welcoming and nurturing village school that caters for children from 2 years old through to Year 6. As a smaller-than-average primary school, we are able to know every child as an individual, building strong relationships with pupils and families to create a happy, supportive and inclusive community. We celebrate each child's talents, strengths and individuality, ensuring that everyone feels valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential.

Children benefit from a highly nurturing learning environment and are taught in mixed-age classes that are carefully organised to meet the needs of all learners. Through high-quality teaching, a broad and ambitious curriculum, and a wide range of enrichment opportunities, we inspire pupils to develop confidence, resilience and a lifelong love of learning.

We are experienced in supporting children with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Our inclusive approach, personalised support and strong partnerships with families ensure that every child is able to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Pupils behave well, enjoy coming to school and take pride in their achievements. Families value the education and care that we provide, while pupils benefit from a wide range of extra-curricular clubs and activities that help them discover new interests, develop talents and create lasting memories.
