Data Protection
All schools in the Durham Dales Partnership collect and use pupil information under the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Education Act 1996, which provide a lawful basis for processing pupil data for general purposes. From 25 May 2018, this also includes Article 6 and Article 9 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where the information processed is classed as special category data.
